  • Unfortunately you cannot directly buy our tests yet as we have not officially launched. However, you can sign up to our early access program. In the future you will find our tests in our online shops and hopefully a local shop near you.

  • You can image the test similar to a covid at-home test, the only difference being that femote tests use a urine or vaginal secretion sample. Simply collect a sample, drip it onto the test and wait for 15 minutes.

  • Our standard test are rapid-tests that give you a result within 15 minutes, wherever you are.

  • Our app guides you through every step of the way. If you receive a positive test result we offer you a seamless solution to request prescription medication or a video consultation. Additionally, you will get all the information you need to find the best treatment for yourself.

  • If you have a positive test you can book a consultation with a doctor of our network and if necessary they can issue a prescription, which you can either get sent to a local pharmacy of your choice or directly order through one of our online pharmacy partners.

I quit my job for vaginal yeast infections…

Hi, I’m Frederike, founder of femote – and probably the woman with the most publicly discussed intimate infections in Germany. Jokes aside, I dealt with recurrent infections for years. That mix of frustration as a patient, the long journey of figuring things out, and my background in digital and data strategy eventually turned into femote.

So yes, in a way, I quit my job because of yeast infections.

Since then, my mission has grown far beyond “faster treatment for infections”. I want to help build 21st-century gynaecological care – digital, accessible from anywhere, personal, and genuinely empowering. A system where both patients and clinicians actively shape the experience.

femote and it’s network of doctors want to help you to determine your intimate health status remotely from the comfort of your home. From acute symptoms of bacterial vaginosis, yeast infections and urinary tract infections, to just making sure everything is balanced out. We are there for you.

29% of people with a vagina are affected by bacterial vaginosis within a given year, 15% by yeast infection and 11% have a urinary tract infection.
